I have an educational background in Human Nutrition and the subject has been my passion for over 20 years. I appreciate that decision to discuss, and share, your weight loss goals & journey is a very personal matter, and I always guarantee clients a safe, trusting environment with zero judgement, ample compassion and professional guidance and support whenever needed.

Before becoming a health coach I worked as a practice nurse, I have always been passionate about helping others with their goals to improve health outcomes and reduce the likelihood of preventable diseases.  

I had a ‘wake up call’ when my mother had a stroke and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at 40, and realised my lifestyle was leading me the same way.  I have my own weight loss story so feel I can relate well to others.  With two young children I don’t have much spare time but have recently taken up running.

improve their mental and physical health. That’s where my love, and self-directed learning, of nutrition comes in. There is irrefutable evidence of a strong connection between what we eat or drink and our mental health.

My professional background focused on educating and supporting my clients to make lasting positive behavioural changes to improve their general wellbeing and lives.

Hi everyone, Lisa here! My passion for helping people lose weight comes from the new life they get when they start achieving their goals. You can see the determination, motivation and a switch in mindset as they start smashing goals, and I find that super rewarding. 

I have my own personal weight loss story which I am happy to share, and hopefully you can use that as inspiration to keep on pushing on the bad days. I am a Hamilton local, have a degree in psychology and have just started a personal training qualification.

Get started on your weightloss journey.

It’s likely that in your previous attempts at losing weight you encountered one or more roadblocks:

Your weekly Dietflex support sessions will be great opportunity to identify any roadblocks you may be experiencing and develop strategies to overcome them!

You can be rest assured that with Dietflex you will learn how to adapt basic guidelines to suit all the different family members and your coach will work with you to adjust your family favourites to suit your needs.

Motivation is great for getting started, but it can be hard going all the way on your own! With the weekly support of the coach you will transform your motivation into lasting habits, having security in knowing that if you trip, you the coach will be there to help you back on track.

You'll be more energised.

We do experience multiple demands and commitments that require time and attention. What most of our busy members have found is that when they invest in time for themselves, they cope better with whatever life throws at them and have a lot more energy to get through their busy days.
